When the catamarans go for 2027
The four and five cabin catamarans in the EUR 17,000 to 45,000 bands are the most requested yachts on the list, and the first to go for July and August. Peak weeks for July and August 2027 are being contracted now, in the autumn of 2026; the five and six cabin yachts go first. Nine to fourteen months ahead for a peak week, six to nine for June and late September, three to four for May and October. Booking early buys first choice of yacht and week rather than a discount.
George's insider notes
- The jump from EUR 22,000 to EUR 31,500 is a real jump: the 20 metre class brings a fourth crew member, a foredeck jacuzzi and a chef rather than a cook-hostess.
- Ask whether the fifth cabin is a full double or a French double that shares a bathroom; the rate card does not always say.
- The APA on a sailing catamaran that anchors most nights comes in at the low end; a week of marinas and long motoring sits at the high end.
- A catamaran that placed in the chef competition at the charter shows is the easiest way to buy a good galley without tasting it first; fifteen on this list have.
Frequently asked
Questions we get about How Much Is a Catamaran for a Week in Greece?
How much is a catamaran for a week in Greece?
From EUR 17,000 a week net base for a crewed sailing catamaran of 12 to 16 metres to EUR 90,000 at 24 metres on the current rate cards; power catamarans from EUR 21,000. All in, the smallest crewed catamaran is about EUR 22,000 for the week with the APA and the VAT, before the gratuity.
How much does a catamaran vacation cost all in?
Roughly 1.4 to 1.6 times the base fee: the APA at 25 to 35 percent, Greek VAT at the yacht's certified rate of 5.2 to 12 percent, and a gratuity of 10 to 15 percent. On a EUR 24,000 week that is about EUR 33,600 to 38,900 all in, per yacht.
How much is it to rent a catamaran for a week with a crew?
The crew is included in the base fee on every catamaran this house represents: a captain and a cook-hostess on the 15 metre class, a captain, chef, hostess and deckhand on the 20 to 24 metre class. There is no separate crew charge.
How many people fit on a catamaran for a week?
Eight on a four cabin catamaran, ten on a five cabin one, twelve on the largest, which is also the legal maximum in Greece. Three or four couples fit comfortably in four cabins.
Is a catamaran cheaper than a motor yacht for a week?
At the same length, usually. A crewed catamaran starts at EUR 17,000 at 15 metres and a motor yacht at EUR 17,500 at 20 metres, but the motor yacht's APA runs 30 to 40 percent against 25 to 35 for the catamaran, because of fuel.
