One price per yacht per week, before VAT (5.2 to 12% by the yacht's certification), APA (20 to 30% of the base on a catamaran, 30 to 40% on a motor yacht) and a customary 10 to 15% crew gratuity on the base. - Day 1
Embark Mykonos · Ornos
Board in the afternoon and anchor at Ornos, 6 to 12 metres over sand with excellent shelter from the north wind, the tender dock a minute away. The first dinner on deck, the town lights across the bay, and no passage yet.
- Day 2
Delos by tender · Rhenia South Bay
Delos in visiting hours, the yacht lying off while the tender runs the two of you to the site before the ferries. Lunch and the afternoon swim at South Bay on Rhenia, excellent Meltemi shelter in a beautiful setting, then back to Psarou, 8 to 15 metres over sand, for the evening.

Antiparos · Soros Bay
South in the morning calm to the Antiparos channel. Soros is 6 to 12 metres over sand with excellent holding and shelter from every direction, arguably the clearest water in the Cyclades: the day nobody else is in the photograph.

Ios · Manganari
Manganari on the south coast of Ios, a wide sandy bay in 4 to 10 metres, well protected from the Meltemi and open only to the south. The quiet night; the port at Yialos has the nightlife if you want it, a taxi away.

Santorini · the caldera at sunset
The mooring buoys at Ammoudi below Oia, where the caldera is 80 to 180 metres deep and no anchor holds, for the sunset from the deck; dinner at the fish tavernas on the quay or aboard. Vlychada on the south coast is the alongside alternative, with Akrotiri and Red Beach by tender.

Folegandros or Sifnos
In settled weather, Agios Georgios on the south-east of Folegandros, solid sand in 4 to 6 metres behind its islet, and the cliff-top Chora for dinner. When the Meltemi is up, Vathy on Sifnos instead, 3 to 4 metres over sand and the safest harbour on the island.

Return Mykonos · Kalafati
The run north in the morning. Last night at Kalafati on the east coast of Mykonos, 6 to 10 metres over sand, the best Meltemi shelter on the island and the least-visited bay, one taverna ashore. Disembark on the morning of day eight.

How early should we book a Greek honeymoon?
Six to twelve months ahead for July and August on the Greek Charter Index, and the four named boats above are four hulls, not a class; if the wedding date fixes the week, treat an available yacht as a same-week decision. June and September hold availability closer in, 15 to 25% below peak on the same rate card. Is there an all-inclusive honeymoon yacht charter in Greece?
Some owners quote all-in, most quote a base rate plus APA and VAT, and we say which is which before you compare. For two, a EUR 20,000 base week lands around EUR 26,300 to 27,400 all-in before gratuity with APA at 25% and VAT at 6.5 to 12%; ask for the all-in figure on any yacht above and we quote it from the owner's office. The number is per yacht per week either way.
How much does a honeymoon yacht charter in Greece cost?
Per yacht per week before VAT and APA, from each yacht's own rate card: SEA U EUR 21,000 to 24,000, SEA YA EUR 24,000 to 28,000, MELITI EUR 26,500, Just Marie 2 EUR 49,000 to 59,000. Add VAT at 5.2 to 12% by certification, APA of 20 to 30% on a catamaran or 30 to 40% on a motor yacht, and a customary 10 to 15% crew gratuity on the base. A couple pays the same card as six guests on the same boat; the saving is in choosing the smaller boat.
Can the yacht arrange a proposal?
Yes. Flowers on board, a photographer at the anchorage, a custom menu, the toast at anchor at the hour you name, and the ring where you want it found. Brief George three weeks ahead with the specifics and tell nobody else; the crew are good at secrets.
Is sailing or motor better for a honeymoon?
The motor yacht for a couple who want to move: SEA YA at 24 knots reaches Mykonos from Alimos, 90 miles, in about three hours forty-five, and SEA U, a Riva 72 with two crew, is the sports cruiser for two. The sailing yacht for the couple who want the sailing-into-sunset moment a motor yacht cannot give: MELITI, 26 metres with four crew. One night, on the caldera mooring buoys at Ammoudi for the sunset, and the rest of the week in bays the crowds cannot reach: Soros on Antiparos, Manganari on Ios, Kalafati on Mykonos. The caldera is 80 to 180 metres deep and no anchor holds there, which is why every yacht you see below Oia is on a buoy and why the night is better spent at sea.
Where should a honeymoon go in May, June or September?
The same Cyclades week with a softer wind, or the Saronic from Athens if the flights land there: Hydra with Vlychos at 8 to 15 metres over sand two miles west of the car-free town, Dokos Plakes with no other lights, Spetses.
