Crewed Yacht Charter in Greece from About EUR 22,000 All In
What the first rung of the ladder actually buys: the yacht, the crew, the fuel, the food, the berths and the tax, for the week, per yacht.

Why the number is 22,000 and not 17,000
Best suited for
- Three or four couples sharing the entry catamaran
- Two families with children on a five cabin catamaran
- First-time charterers who want the whole number before the brochure
- Anyone who was told "from 17,000" and wondered what was missing
When the entry yachts go
The EUR 17,000 to 28,000 band is the most requested on the list and the thinnest; four 15 metre catamarans and four 18 to 21 metre motor yachts carry it. Peak weeks for July and August 2027 are being contracted now, in the autumn of 2026; the five and six cabin yachts go first. Nine to fourteen months ahead for a peak week, six to nine for June and late September, three to four for May and October. Booking early buys first choice of yacht and week rather than a discount.
George's insider notes
- Ask for the yacht's certified VAT rate first; between 5.2 and 12 percent on a EUR 17,000 base lies EUR 1,150 of difference.
- A Saronic week from Athens spends the low end of the APA; a week of marinas and long legs the high end.
- The gratuity is on the base alone; on the entry week that is EUR 1,700 to 2,550, handed to the captain on the last day.
- Four cabins for eight is the entry layout; the fifth cabin on a 16 metre catamaran is usually a French double sharing a bathroom.
Frequently asked
Questions we get about Crewed Yacht Charter in Greece from About EUR 22,000 All In
What does a crewed yacht charter in Greece cost all in?
From about EUR 22,000 for the week on the current rate cards: a 15 metre crewed catamaran for eight at EUR 17,000 base, plus APA at 20 to 25 percent and VAT from 5.2 percent, before a gratuity of 10 to 15 percent. Per yacht, never by the head.
What is included in EUR 22,000 all in?
The yacht, her crew and insurance for seven nights, every litre of fuel, every meal and drink aboard, every berth and port fee at cost through the APA, and the Greek VAT. The crew gratuity is separate and at your discretion.
Can a crewed charter in Greece cost less than 22,000?
Not on the current rate cards this house holds: the crewed floor is EUR 17,000 base, and the APA and the VAT take it to about EUR 21,300 to 22,100. A five-night Saronic week on the same yacht is priced pro rata and is the shortest programme on the list.
How much is a crewed motor yacht all in?
From about EUR 24,000 for the week: a 20 metre motor yacht for six at EUR 17,500 base, with the APA at 30 to 40 percent because of fuel, and VAT at the yacht's rate.
Is the APA refundable?
Yes. It is settled against receipts at the end of the week and the unspent balance is returned; if the week spends more, the difference is settled aboard.
How do I get the all-in figure for a specific yacht?
Ask George P. Biniaris, WhatsApp +1 786 798 8798 or george@georgeyachts.com. Every proposal from this house shows the base, the yacht's VAT rate, the APA and the gratuity range as separate lines, within twenty-four hours.
