Why George Yachts
For this brief specifically
The kosher layer, arranged properly when you want it: certified glatt catering with island delivery, written galley protocol, Shabbat-aware routing. See our dedicated kosher charter guide.
Time-zone-friendly: Athens is on Israel time all summer (both IDT and EEST sit at UTC+3), so there is no jet lag and no odd-hours coordination - we answer when you are awake.
One broker, the whole thread: yacht, crew briefing, catering, berths and transfers held by the same hands from first call to disembark.
Frequently asked
About this charter type
How long is the flight from Tel Aviv to Athens?
About 2 hours 10 minutes nonstop. EL AL, Aegean, Arkia, Israir and others run roughly 50 direct flights a week in season, so morning-out, evening-back timing around a charter week is easy.
Can we get kosher food on the yacht?
Yes - genuinely, not notionally. Glatt kosher catering prepared under rabbinic supervision in Athens delivers across Greece including Mykonos and Santorini with 3-5 days notice. Formats range from sealed meal service to a chef cooking exclusively kosher. Full details on our kosher yacht charter guide.
Can the itinerary respect Shabbat?
Completely. The yacht moors or anchors before sunset on Friday and stays at rest until Saturday night. Meals are prepared ahead, and if you want walking access to a Chabad house for Shabbat, we position the yacht at Mykonos or Athens.
What documents do Israeli passport holders need?
Israeli citizens enter Greece visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Passport scans for each guest and a signed MYBA charter contract are all we need to confirm the booking.
Is August workable or fully booked?
Israeli demand peaks in July-August together with everyone else's, and the best crewed catamarans commit early. For peak weeks, reserve by late winter - and the 2027 calendars are already open for those planning ahead.
