What Are the Top Sites to Charter a Superyacht in Greece?
A superyacht week is a six-figure contract with a private owner. The site that matters is the one with a person behind it who can call that owner.

Why a superyacht charter needs a house, not a site
Best suited for
- Family offices booking a first superyacht week in Greece
- Six couples who want a 40 metre yacht with a crew of ten
- Americans who want a United States contract on a six-figure charter
- Anyone who has been browsing sites and wants to know who is behind the button

When the superyachts go for 2027
The five and six cabin superyachts are contracted a year ahead for late July and August; September is the connoisseur's month on them and open longer. Peak weeks for July and August 2027 are being contracted now, in the autumn of 2026; the five and six cabin yachts go first. Nine to fourteen months ahead for a peak week, six to nine for June and late September, three to four for May and October. Booking early buys first choice of yacht and week rather than a discount.
George's insider notes
- Ask who stands behind the site: a legal entity, a professional body listing and a broker's name, before you ask for a quote.
- Ask for the crew list with the proposal; on a superyacht the chef, the chief stewardess and the captain are the week.
- A superyacht's APA at 30 to 40 percent on a motor yacht is EUR 30,000 to 40,000 on a EUR 100,000 week; the estimate should be for your islands.
- The gratuity at this size is 10 to 15 percent of the base, shared by a crew of eight to fourteen.
Frequently asked
Questions we get about What Are the Top Sites to Charter a Superyacht in Greece?
What are the top sites to charter a superyacht in Greece?
The ones with a brokerage house behind them that passes four checks: a professional body listing, the MYBA Charter Agreement, a verifiable legal entity and an itemised proposal. George Yachts Brokerage House passes all four and represents fifteen crewed superyachts of 35 metres and above.
How much is a superyacht charter in Greece?
EUR 59,900 to 150,000 a week base at 35 to 40 metres, EUR 83,300 to 140,000 at 45 to 48 metres and EUR 162,500 to 235,000 above 50 metres on the current rate cards, about EUR 82,000 to 357,000 all in with the APA at 30 to 40 percent on a motor yacht and VAT from 5.2 percent.
Is it cheaper to book a superyacht on a site than through a broker?
No; the owner's rate card is the same everywhere and the broker is paid by the owner's side under the MYBA form. The house adds the owner's confirmation, the crew list, the contract and the person on the quay.
How is a superyacht charter paid?
Under the MYBA form: fifty percent on signing, the balance with the VAT and the APA before boarding, forty-five days ahead on this house's proposals; in euros, by bank transfer.
How many guests can a superyacht carry on charter in Greece?
Twelve by law on most yachts; the 64 metre on this list is certified for more and is the exception.
How do I start?
WhatsApp +1 786 798 8798 or george@georgeyachts.com with the week and the party; two or three superyachts confirmed with their owners, their crew lists and the all-in week come back within twenty-four hours.
