Frequently asked
About this charter type
How early does August sell out in Greece?
Fast, and it scales with size. By mid-May 2026, for that August, mid-tier 30-40m yachts were around 22% available, 50m+ superyachts around 6%, and 70m+ megayachts effectively closed for a Greek embark. Read that as a lead-time rule rather than a forecast: the bigger the yacht, the closer to a full year ahead the decision has to be made. For the following August, contact George by October.
Should I wait for next August or force this one?
If the yacht spec is non-negotiable, a specific boat or a specific size, waiting for next August is the cleaner path and always has been. If you are flexible on spec, or open to late September and October, the current season stays workable in the mid-tier far longer than the top tier does.
What about September instead?
Late September Cyclades and October Saronic still have ~25% top-tier availability. Same warm water, no Meltemi, 18-32% lower rates than August peak. Excellent alternative.
