When to book
May to October is the active Corfu charter season. Late June through August is family-peak with school holidays in alignment. September and early October are the sweet spots for families with older children (no school constraint) - warm water, quiet anchorages, lower rates. Most Corfu-based yachts winter in Lefkada Marina; charter availability begins mid-May.

- Corfu town's Old Fortress is a 30-minute walk from the new marina. Plan a half-day shore excursion with the family.
- Paxos's Lakka harbour for at least one evening. Small, sheltered, lit-from-below water that the children remember.
- Antipaxos beaches (Voutoumi, Vrika) for the day. White sand, Caribbean water, no shore infrastructure.
- Albanian Riviera (Sarande, Ksamil) as a cross-border day trip from Corfu. Possible with paperwork; ask at booking.
- Provisioning in Corfu town is the best in the Ionian. Brief the chef on any specific ingredient requests.

Corfu airport (CFU) has direct flights from 30+ European destinations in season. Flight time from London is 3.5 hours, from Vienna 2 hours. The marina is 10 minutes from the airport by taxi.
What's the typical Corfu family yacht itinerary?
7-night standard: Day 1 Corfu town and anchorage. Day 2 sail south to Paxos. Day 3-4 Paxos and Antipaxos. Day 5 Lefkimi or back-route via Othonoi. Day 6-7 Corfu west coast (Paleokastritsa, Glyfada) and return. About 100 nm total.

Can we cross to Albania from a Corfu yacht charter?
Not through this house. Our weeks begin and end in Greek waters, and a Corfu week keeps to the Ionian: the north coast at Kassiopi and Agios Stefanos looks across the strait to Albania, which is as close as the yacht goes. Cross-border charters exist in the trade on yachts whose flag and paperwork allow it; they are not ours to arrange.
