When to book
June and September are the discretionary UHNW Corfu months: peak villa-set season, weather perfect, the August crowds not yet arrived (June) or already gone (September). July and August commit six to twelve months ahead on the Greek Charter Index; the Greek shipping families lock in their dates two summers in advance. May and October are possible at materially discounted rates.

On the Greek Charter Index 2026 a 22 to 25 metre motor yacht lists at EUR 21,000 to 47,500 a week net base, a 26 to 31 metre at 35,900 to 75,000 and a 35 to 40 metre at 59,900 to 150,000, before APA of 30 to 40% and VAT at the certified rate. The base rate attaches to the yacht, not to Corfu; what Corfu changes is the delivery, which for an Athens-based yacht runs through the Corinth Canal.
How does a Corfu motor yacht week compare to Mykonos?
Quieter, more sheltered, more family-oriented, more discreet. Corfu is where UHNW principals charter when they want zero Mykonos visibility. The yachts are larger, the anchorages are deeper, the dinners are villa-private rather than club-public.
Can we cross to Italy or Albania during the charter?
Possible. Brindisi (Italy) is 100 nm west of Corfu, Saranda (Albania) is 12 nm north. Both require advance customs notification. Most Corfu motor yacht weeks stay within Greek waters.
Which is better for August: Corfu or Cycladic?
Corfu in August. Same weather, half the crowd-pressure, materially more anchorage privacy. Cyclades in August is for the energy and the scene; Corfu is for the calm and the discretion. Different briefs, same calendar.
