Honeymoon yacht to Paros
Honeymoon Yacht Charter Paros
The Cycladic honeymoon for couples who prefer Naoussa to Oia. Quieter Cyclades, longer evenings, the better-kept secret.
Why Paros works for the quieter Cycladic honeymoon
Best suited for
- Honeymoon couples who've been to Mykonos or Santorini and want the alternative
- Photography-focused couples who care about empty anchorages
- Couples flying direct to Paros airport (PAS) from Athens
- Anniversary couples returning for a quieter Cycladic week
- Couples wanting the Cycladic light without the Cycladic energy
When to book
Late May through June and early-mid September are the honeymoon-perfect Paros windows. Water 22-25°C, restaurants all open, Naoussa atmospheric without the August crush. July and August Paros is energetic but the romance dilutes. Avoid the second week of August (Greek Panagia, Naoussa packed).
George's insider notes
- Anchor at Kolymbithres (1 nm east of Naoussa) for the protected swim mornings. Tender into Naoussa harbour for dinner.
- Soros beach on Antiparos for the lunch anchorage. South-facing, sandy, almost-empty in shoulder season.
- Despotiko archaeology — the Mycenaean sanctuary excavation is open for visits, no entry fee, no crowds.
- Naoussa has 10 restaurants; we recommend Mario, Ouzeri Stou Frix, and Soso. The first two need reservations.
- Take a Paros-pottery tour mid-week (Parikia old town has 3 working studios). Anniversary gift opportunity.
Frequently asked
About honeymoon yacht charter paros
How much does a Paros honeymoon yacht week cost?
Weekly rates €35-70K for 18-25m motor yachts (sleeps 4-6). APA 30-35% on top. Most Paros honeymoon weeks settle €55-95K all-in.
Paros vs Santorini for honeymoon — which is better?
Different. Santorini wins for the recognisable photograph (caldera) and once-in-a-lifetime brand. Paros wins for quieter restaurant atmosphere, easier anchorages, less August chaos. Couples wanting iconic photos pick Santorini; couples wanting a less-photographed week pick Paros.
Can we fly direct to Paros?
Paros airport (PAS) has direct flights from Athens (40 min) only. International couples typically fly Athens → Paros same-day. No direct international flights yet.
Is Antiparos worth the side-trip?
Absolutely. Antiparos is the quieter, smaller sister island accessible only by yacht/local ferry. Soros and Apantima beaches plus Despotiko archaeology are honeymoon highlights.
