How Much Does a Catamaran Vacation Cost?
A crewed catamaran week in Greece, worked from the yacht to the last dinner: the base, the running account, the tax, the crew's thank-you, and nothing by the head.

Why a catamaran vacation is priced the way it is
Best suited for
- First-time charterers who want the whole number before the brochure
- Three or four couples sharing one price
- Families who want to know what the children's meals cost (nothing beyond the APA)
- Anyone comparing a catamaran week against a villa and a boat
When the catamarans go for 2027
The catamarans are the most requested yachts in Greece; the five-cabin ones with a chef go a year ahead for late July and August. Peak weeks for July and August 2027 are being contracted now, in the autumn of 2026; the five and six cabin yachts go first. Nine to fourteen months ahead for a peak week, six to nine for June and late September, three to four for May and October. Booking early buys first choice of yacht and week rather than a discount.
George's insider notes
- Ask for the yacht's certified VAT rate with the base; between 5.2 and 12 percent on EUR 17,000 lies EUR 1,150.
- The APA comes back if unspent; a party that eats ashore every night gets a refund at the end.
- Four cabins for eight is the entry layout; a fifth cabin on a 16 metre catamaran is usually a French double sharing a bathroom.
- The gratuity is on the base alone, never on the APA or the VAT.
Frequently asked
Questions we get about How Much Does a Catamaran Vacation Cost?
How much does a catamaran vacation cost?
From about EUR 22,000 for the week all in on a 15 metre crewed catamaran for eight in Greece, EUR 17,000 base with the APA at 20 to 25 percent on a sailing catamaran and VAT from 5.2 percent; about EUR 40,000 to 45,000 with a chef at 20 metres; per yacht, never by the head.
What is included in a crewed catamaran vacation?
The yacht, her crew and insurance for seven nights in the base; every litre of fuel, every meal and drink aboard, every berth and port fee at cost through the APA; the Greek VAT. The gratuity and dinners ashore are yours.
Does the week cost less with fewer guests?
No; the price is per yacht, so eight guests share what four would pay alone, and the all-in week does not change with the number aboard, up to the yacht's berths and the legal twelve.
What is not included in the all-in week?
Dinners ashore when you choose them, the crew gratuity at your discretion, and your flights to Athens; everything aboard, from the fuel to the last coffee, runs through the base and the APA.
Does the APA come back?
Yes; it is settled against receipts at the end of the week and the unspent balance is returned.
How do I get the all-in figure for a specific catamaran?
WhatsApp +1 786 798 8798 or george@georgeyachts.com with the month and the party; two or three real catamarans with every line of the week come back within twenty-four hours.
