The booking timeline
Peak (July and August): on the Greek Charter Index 2026 peak weeks book 6 to 12 months ahead, and a year or more for the yachts above 40 metres; the marquee August weeks go first. June, early July, September: the widest selection at peak or near-peak rates, with the sea at its warmest in September. May and early October: shoulder pricing, 15 to 25% below peak on the Index, with the Cycladic light at its softest and the Meltemi season not yet begun or already over.

- Mykonos New Port has few berths for yachts above 30 metres. Most Cycladic superyachts anchor at Ornos or in Mykonos Bay overnight and tender in.
- Two tenders change what a single day can hold: one at the beach club, one on the swim stop. The tender count is a yacht-by-yacht fact, stated on each rate card.
- Crew gratuity convention 10-15% of base rate. For a EUR 200,000 base-rate week above 50 metres, plan EUR 20,000 to 30,000, handed to the captain on the final morning.
- The Meltemi blows from the north in July and August. The week runs north to south, Mykonos first and Santorini last, so the wind stays behind you.
- For 14-day charters the loop adds Milos, Kimolos and Serifos in the western Cyclades, the quietest anchorages of the group.

What's the booking deadline for peak August?
On the Greek Charter Index 2026, 6 to 12 months ahead for peak weeks and a year or more for the yachts above 40 metres. Shoulder months are usually available 3 to 6 months out.
Can we charter for 10-14 days?
Yes. Some owners price a second week below the first; the figure is quoted per yacht, never assumed. The two-week loop extends west to Milos, Kimolos and Serifos rather than pushing further south.
Which Cycladic superyachts are most-requested?
The yachts above 35 metres with the largest cabins and a recent refit go first. This house sends a curated shortlist for your dates on request, with each yacht's stabiliser and tender fit stated on its rate card.
Can we get one-way charter (Mykonos to Santorini)?
Yes. A one-way fee is quoted per yacht and route by the owner and covers repositioning the yacht back to base. It is a common request for weeks ending at Santorini for the airport.
