George's Inside Info
“AMICI PER SEMPRE is kept better than most yachts ten years younger, and her crew has been together long enough that the week runs itself. Aluminium, quick, eleven berths. She runs 65,000 to 75,000 euros per week.”
- George P. Biniaris, Managing Broker & IYBA Member
The Yacht in Detail
M/Y AMICI PER SEMPRE is a 33.4 metre Baglietto from 2004, refitted in 2023, drawn by Francesco Paszkowski and built in aluminium. Her name means best friends forever, and she charters, more often than not, to exactly that.
Eleven Guests, Seven Crew
Five cabins take eleven guests with a crew of seven, which is a generous ratio at 33 metres and shows in the service. The crew has been aboard together, which is the quiet variable that decides how a week actually feels.
Aluminium and Quick
Twenty-three and a half knots of cruise, twenty-six available. Aluminium keeps the weight down and the speed up, and the maintenance standard aboard is visibly high: she is one of the best-kept hulls of her generation in Greek waters.
The Week She Is Built For
Groups of friends rather than formal parties. Fast enough for an island-heavy Cyclades week, small enough to take the harbours, and crewed well enough that the pace never becomes the guests' problem.
A Sample 7-Day Route
What a week aboard M/Y AMICI PER SEMPRE can look like
Total: 296 NM
- Day 1· 57 NM
Athens (Alimos)→Andros (Batsi)
A shipowning island with a museum of modern art nobody expects to find there. Reckon on two and a half hours from the last berth.
- Day 2· 37 NM
Andros (Batsi)→Mykonos (Ornos)
Ninety minutes at her cruising speed. Anchor off Ornos rather than fighting for the new marina, and take the tender in for dinner.
- Day 3· 19 NM
Mykonos (Ornos)→Naxos (Chora)
Naxos is the biggest of the Cyclades and the only one that farms seriously, so the food is grown here. Forty minutes on passage at 23.5 knots.
- Day 4· 41 NM
Naxos (Chora)→Santorini (the caldera)
Just under two hours under way. Sunset from the water rather than from the crowd at Oia, which is the whole argument for arriving by sea.
- Day 5· 51 NM
Santorini (the caldera)→Milos (Adamas)
The volcanic coast is white rock cut into the sea, and Kleftiko is only reachable from the water. Reckon on two hours from the last berth.
- Day 6· 43 NM
Milos (Adamas)→Kythnos (Kolona)
Just under two hours at her cruising speed. The hot springs at Loutra run into the sea, so you can find the temperature you want by moving a metre.
- Day 7· 48 NM
Kythnos (Kolona)→Athens (Alimos)
The run back up the coast, Athens on the bow, and the last night alongside. Two hours on passage at 23.5 knots.
Indicative only - every charter is shaped around your group, the wind, and the season.
