The Yacht in Detail
M/Y NAIA is a 38.5 metre Sanlorenzo 40Alloy, and she is the most decorated hull in the fleet this house represents. She won two World Superyacht Awards in 2009, for Best Semi-Displacement Motor Yacht between 30 and 39 metres and for Best Exterior Styling, and she came back in 2024 from a refit deep enough to earn her a 2025 nomination in the refitted class.
Francesco Paszkowski drew her inside and out. The 2024 work was carried out by Garibaldi Architects under the shipyard's own style director, which is a rare thing: a yacht renewed by the people who gave her the lines in the first place.
What a 38 Metre Aluminium Hull Buys You
Aluminium, 317 gross tons, twin MTU engines of 2,750 horsepower each, sixteen knots of cruise and twenty-six at the top end. Stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, which is the difference between a rolling lunch stop and a still one. Fold-down balconies open from the master cabin on the main deck and from the main saloon, so the sea arrives at the table.
Ten Guests, Eight Crew
Five cabins take ten guests; a crew of eight runs her, chef included. That ratio is what a 38 metre yacht should carry and often does not. Her chase boat is a 2024 Axopar 37 with fishing electronics, and the toy list behind it runs to kitesurfing gear, two wakeboards, an e-foil, a Seabob and full dive equipment with a compressor aboard.
The Week She Is Built For
NAIA is an Athens boat with the range for the whole Cyclades: Kea and Kythnos on the first evening, Paros and Naxos in the middle of the week, Milos and the western islands if the meltemi allows, home by Sunday. She is chartered by parties who want the yacht itself to be part of the story, and with two awards on her record she is the easiest yacht in this fleet to justify to a family office.

Kea (Vourkari)→Syros (Ermoupoli)
The capital of the Cyclades, neoclassical rather than whitewashed, and lived in all year. Reckon on two and a half hours from the last berth.
- Day 3· 19 NM
Syros (Ermoupoli)→Mykonos (Ornos)
An hour and a quarter at her cruising speed. Mykonos is loud and it is worth one night of it, with the beach clubs on the south shore in the afternoon.
- Day 4· 18 NM
Mykonos (Ornos)→Paros (Naoussa)
Naoussa is a fishing harbour that grew into an evening, and the old port still works as one. An hour and a quarter on passage at 16 knots.
- Day 5· 45 NM
Paros (Naoussa)→Kythnos (Kolona)
Three hours under way. The hot springs at Loutra run into the sea, so you can find the temperature you want by moving a metre.

Kythnos (Kolona)→Cape Sounion
Byron carved his name into one of the columns, and the sunset from the water is the reason to be here rather than in the car park. Reckon on an hour and a quarter from the last berth.

Cape Sounion→Athens (Alimos)
An hour and a quarter at her cruising speed. Back on her berth by the afternoon, so the last evening is dinner in town rather than a passage.
