Antiparos is the small island west of Paros, separated by a 1-kilometre channel and reached by a 7-minute car ferry from Paros's Pounta port. When to Visit Antiparos
June and September are Antiparos's perfect months. July and August the Chora restaurants book 2-3 weeks ahead, but the yacht anchorages (Soros, Despotiko, Faneromeni) stay manageable because they're south-facing and protected from the Meltemi crowd-funnel. May and October the island contracts to local-only - beautiful but limited dining.

- Soros Beach anchorage: pure white sand, 2-4m depth, sandy holding. The Cyclades's most photographed anchorage and the lunch break of every Paros-based charter.
- Despotiko is 5 nautical miles west of Antiparos. Anchor in 4-6m sand, walk the archaeological site on shore (free admission, no guards), swim in the channel.
- Antiparos Chora is a 12-minute walk end-to-end. Reserve Yiouli, Captain Pipinos, or Begleri for dinner. The yacht-set bar is at Margarita's after dinner.
- The Pounta-Antiparos car ferry runs every 30 minutes day, hourly evening. Brief your captain on schedule if doing a Paros-day-trip option.
- If you have a 30m+ motor yacht, anchor at Despotiko then have the captain tender you to Antiparos Chora for evening - better than mediterranean-mooring inside the small Antiparos harbour.
